Why should I hang my TV?

When you hang your TV, it will give you a home theatre style experience for a fraction of the cost! It is space saving plus gives you optimum TV viewing. And importantly, the TV is safe from young children and the elderly, and a hindrance for thieves.

Can you hang my TV on solid brick walls?

Yes we can. We may not be able to hide cables within the wall, but will be able to provide you with an alternate solution. Prices may vary.

How long will it take to hang my TV?

It will take approximately one to two hours to hang your TV. If you require additional services, it may increase time. Please ensure that the area is cleared before our technicians arrive for the installation, otherwise it will add unnecessary time to the service.

Which areas do you offer TV wall mounting services?

We currently offer TV wall mounting in all areas of Metro Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula, Geelong & Bellarine Peninsula, Metro Brisbane, Ipswich and Gold Coast. We will be expanding into other areas soon. We may be able to travel to your area, please contact us on 1300426469 or info@hangmytv.com.au to discuss this. If we need to travel over one hour to you, it will incur a travel fee of $75 per hour. 

Will I be able to turn my TV to face another direction?

We have pivot mounts available at an additional cost that enable you to do this.

Will you be able to see the TV cables when you mount my TV?

We can conceal cables in the wall cavity if possible if you require. This is an additional cost of $50. If there is no cavity in your wall, we have alternate solutions to hide the cables.

What size TVs do you hang?

We can hang any size TV! Please advise us of the size and type of your TV at the time of booking. There is an additional cost for TVs 58" and larger as it requires additional installers to hang the TV. Also, there is an additional charge for Plasma TVs and the new Frame-style TVs, as they also require an additional installer to hang the TV due to their weight and size.  

Can you tune my TV as well? 

Yes - this is included in our pricing!

Can you hook up the DVD, game consoles, Foxtel, Cable, or Apple TV to my TV as well?

Yes we can and is included in the price. If extra-length or additional cables are required, we have these available for purchase and will incur an additional cost.

Can you provide extra antenna or power points if required?

We can provide antenna points and data points if you require them at an additional cost.

Unfortunately we cannot provide power points. If you require this, you can have this installed by a qualified electrician before or after we install your TV. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this further.

Do you provide a guarantee on your work?

Yes, we provide a 10 year guarantee on our work.

Can you mount a TV over my fireplace?

This may be possible, but may require a site inspection beforehand (this will incur an additional charge). Please advise this at time of booking.  Please also be aware that hanging a TV over a fireplace may void your TV warranty (due to heat) and the cables may not be able to be concealed.

Do you clean up after wall mounting my TV?

Of course! And at an additional cost we can take all boxes too. We can also take away your old TV if you require and get it recycled (at an additional cost).

Can you show me how the TV works after you install and program everything?

Absolutely! Our friendly staff will show you how everything works after your installation.

Will you wall mount TVs in my office or workplace?

Yes we can - there may be additional costs if heights exceed more than 2m.

I'm moving house. Can you transport my TV from my old house to my new house?

We are happy to take down the TV from your old house, pack it to be moved safely and then hang it in your new house, however we will not be able to transport it for you.

If I have a smart TV, can you hook it up to the WiFi network?

Yes, this is included in our price! Please have your username and password for your wireless network ready for our installers.

Can I use my own wall bracket to wall mount my TV?

Yes, you can use your own TV bracket. We can also provide a TV wall mount bracket for you, if you require one, at an additional cost. We have flat or pivot TV wall mount brackets available and prices may vary depending on the size and weight of the TV. Please note that if we do use a bracket supplied by you, we may not be able to guarantee our work, as we don't know where it has been purchased or its quality.

Can I pay by credit card or EFTPOS?

Yes, all our installers have credit card facilities available for payments. We accept payment by credit card or cash.
